My fortune was “Hand that touches this slip have no more worries”
My plan for the fortune cookie is to create a scene from the lion king where they are singing the song Hakuna Matata. I will draw a scene with Pumba, Timon and Simba as they are singing in the jungle. Why I have picked the Hakuna Matata is because that’s the first thing that had popped into my head as soon as I heard the part of no worries. My cousin has also influenced me with this idea. He is always posting quotes on Facebook and this one is his favorite quote of all time. I’m happy that I have picked this as it has showed me what I am really capable of.
Some problems I had during this project was that I didn’t think that I had the potential of doing this. This really made me frustrated in the beginning, as it was almost a thing that was dragging me down. I solved this by going online and watching some videos on how to do these cartoon characters.
I am very happy with this piece that I have just created. This is probably the best thing that I have ever created in an art class. It started out a little rough but by the time I had gotten to Pumba it had turned out really good. I am so proud of this piece,
